Policies

 

A nonrefundable $25 deposit is required for consultation.  This will be applied to the cost of your service.  Consultations are designed to give you an opportunity to meet your stylist and explain your needs and expectations. All consultations and services are scheduled by appointment only.  Consultations may be scheduled to discuss natural hair care, hair thinning, transition from relaxed to natural, the locing process, hair extensions (hair texture, color, style, length and care) and natural product choices.

 

Please understand: three consecutive missed appointments will result in permanent cancellation of services.  

  

To provide superior service, I will may not answer phone calls while I am styling a client.  If you call and I do not answer, please send a text message, and I will respond as quickly as possible.

 

All services do not include human/synthetic hair. Please be advised: you must purchase hair prior to your appointment date.

To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable salon experience, please keep the following tips in mind: 

  • To prepare for an appointment: salon appointments are subject to availability. We recommend advanced reservations. Hair should be free of braids, twists, twist outs, weaves, or tangles of any kind prior to appointment. Unprepared hair will require additional time if available and additional maintenance fees will apply based on the amount of preparation needed. If additional time is unavailable, rescheduling will be considered. 

  • Confirm Appointments: we offer the courtesy of a confirmation call prior to the appointment. However, if you do not hear from us, we encourage clients to contact the salon two days prior to the appointment to assure correct date, time, and services.

  •  Arrive Early: arriving a few minutes early will allow you to enjoy every minute of your experience. However, if you do arrive late, please remember that your service must end on time so the next guest isn’t delayed, regardless of how late you arrive. Our scheduling is designed to allow for sufficient time needed to complete your service. A 20-minute grace period will apply to each appointment. If you are running late for your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Late arrivals for any reason may result in rescheduling the appointment.

  • Extensions: All hair extension appointments require a nonrefundable deposit. To avoid forfeiting your deposit, a 24-hour notice is required to reschedule appointments. Please add braid removal service is needed.  Please allow time when scheduling for the removal of extensions, if required.

Original Beauty Cancellation Policy

 

CONFIRMATION CALLS: As a courtesy, we will confirm your service appointments two business day prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you, and can only leave a message, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid cancellation fees. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on the waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

 

STRICT AND ENFORCED 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY: Your appointments are very important to Original Beauty Hair Salon; they are reserved especially for you, and we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

 

Failure to cancel your appointment within 24 hours will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. 

 

This cancellation policy allows time to inform standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping the scheduled filled, thus better serving everyone. Thank you for viewing and supporting our policies criteria.
